Radio Flyer Classic Wagon - Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon

Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon

Radio Flyer Classic Red Wagon

This classic full-sized Radio Flyer Wagon has become a symbol of American childhood. It's the little red wagon that's been in continuous production for over 70 years. Features full-sized all-steel seamless body with no scratch edges, extra-long handle that folds under and steel wheels with semi-pneumatic rubber tires. Body measures 36" x 17.5" x 4.5".

Customer Review: every boy needs a red wagon

ORdered this Radio Flyer wagon for my grandson's sixth birthday when we discovered that, of all things, he didn't have one! He "needed" it for carrying his "stuff" around. Best part was that it arrived in perfect condition, it was easy to assemble and delivery took less time than we thought! The brand speaks for itself.

Customer Review: Classic

If you're like me, you've seen the plastic versions and they just seem cheap. Once you've put this thing together and you hear that satisfying "clunk" of the steel tow-bar hitting the red body, you're taken right back to your childhood.

It's a shame Amazon's price is so high. I picked up this classic Radio Flyer on clearance at Kmart for $20....

Customer Review: Radio Flyer Wagon

We bought this wagon for some Amish children who worked around our farm to save up for it. They really enjoy hauling their little brother and sister around in it.

Customer Review: Poor China Quality

Plastic wheels with wrong or broken air valve caps. Could not get them off.

Advertised Select Wood is a myth. Wood had numerous defects that had been filled with putty which shrunk after being painted. Screws holding slats had been driven in crooked, then ground down?. Check out the ones built in Amish country or others for better Quality and Value. This was a gift for my daughter to use for gardening ,etc. Advertised at 250 lbs rateing, upon reading directions it said 125lb load. Non wheel bearing wheels.

Radio Flyer Classic Wagon - Radio Flyer Little Red Roadster

Radio Flyer Little Red Roadster

Radio Flyer Little Red Roadster

  • Cool retro styling

  • Classic foot-to-floor car

  • Shiny red all-steel body

  • Real working steering wheel

  • Steel wheels with real rubber tires

  • 26-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 11"

Customer Review: Built like toys should be

I purchased the Radio Flyer Roadster for my grandson's first birthday. By the end of the party, he had learned how to go forwards and backwards. He loved the easy-to-push beep-beep horn. The Roadster is built with the Radio Flyer quality of old and will probably last into the next generation. They just don't make toys like this much anymore...no huge day-glo plastic monster...just a little piece of yesterday that will last a lifetime.

Customer Review: Awesome car for little ones!!

OK - full disclosure...I didn't buy this new. In fact, I got it *very* used. However, Radio Flyer makes their products practically indestructible, and you'd never know how "well loved" this roadster has been. Paint, seat, steering, and even the horn has held up to master-level abuse. Plus, I've had to pry my 12-month daughter off of it with a crowbar ever since she first laid hands on it. It is the *perfect* size for her. Admittedly, she's tall for 12 months, but her feet touch the ground on both sides and she can get on and off easily by herself (which she can't do with most other riding toys). It took her about five minutes to figure out how to "scoot" it forward and backwards. Steering is still a foreign concept, but she's young yet! I really like that its incredibly sturdy, yet light enough that even I can pick it up easily (~14 lbs, but its not unwieldy, so it feels like less). We use it outside, but theoretically it can be used indoors as well. The wheels are rubber, so it shouldn't scratch floors, and the body is nicely rounded. Nonetheless, I remain a bit leery of the possible fate of our dining room table if pitted against a steel car frame (particularly once my daughter gets older and figures out how to produce some serious speed). Since we use the roadster as an outdoor toy, the turning radius issue mentioned by others isn't an issue for us. In fact, I view it as a bonus feature as it makes it less likely for her to be accidentally thrown off as she learns to steer (warning - BE VERY CAREFUL ON PAVED INCLINES - a kid can and will pick up speed). I'm told that the roadster will eventually rust if you let it get rained on. However, so far, periodic dampness hasn't seemed to noticeably hurt it. Plus, on top of everything else stated above, it just looks sooooo cool! All in all, I'm incredibly pleased.

Radio Flyer Classic Wagon - Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse with Sound

Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse with Sound

Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse with Sound

This classically designed horse is ready to ride! She is beautifully decorated and features a wide, stable base and authentic riding saddle with a real yarn mane and tail. When you ride her, the motion will active electronic sounds! Requires three "AA" batteries, not included. Measures 23.5"L x 32.63"W x 11.63"H.

Customer Review: BEWARE: New (low quality) version of the model with sound (301)

I ordered this horse from different online store and was disappointed to receive a horse that lacked many of the advertised features. It had a hard plastic saddle instead of authentic padded leather-like one, only one position stirrups instead of three, did not have integrated steps for easier mounting or stabilization cones on the base. I called Radio Flyer and was told that they changed this model and the one I received was the new version. On my question why they changed it to a lower quality product they said it was the company decision. I ended up returning it and found the good one. I would like to warn all of you reading these glowing reviews that most of the reviewers have the older version with many nice features. If these features are important to you, please make sure you are getting the right version and spare yourself from disappointment and hassle of returning it. It is a shame that such a good company like Radio Flyer would do something like that.

Customer Review: FANTASTIC Horse But Beware, it's HUGE!

My son received this as a gift off of his wishlist when he turned 3, he's now almost 4 1/2 and he still rides spaghetti (as he's named him) almost every day. Yes, I'm thrilled he's using one of his toys instead of it just sitting in the corner and he really loves it but let me tell you this horse has been a kink in my neck ever since he got it. It is so tremendous the only place it would fit was our living room which does not thrill me. The sound effects are fantastic, not annoying at all and it is incredibly well made I just did not realize how huge it was, my mistake. If you have a very large house, I highly recommend it, the Liberty Spring Horse w/Sound is a wonderful toy that will last for many years (oh no...what am I going to do? years it's going to be stuck in my living room? Uy Yuy Yuy....) :o)

Radio Flyer Classic Wagon - Radio Flyer Classic Red 10-Inch Bicycle with Chain Drive

Radio Flyer Classic Red 10-Inch Bicycle with Chain Drive

Radio Flyer Classic Red 10-Inch Bicycle with Chain Drive

Little riders will love cruising in classic Radio Flyer style on this 10" bike. It's as handsome as it is durable with 10" steel spoke wheels, real rubber tires, a chain drive and sturdy steel construction. Shiny chrome handlebars and fenders make this beauty shine. The padded, adjustable seat is perfect for growing riders. There's even a ringing bell to let everyone know you're on your way. Includes training wheels. Does not include brakes.

Customer Review: Great Design! Excellent Gift!

I purchased the Radio Flyer Classic Red 10-Inch Bicycle for a 3 year old foster child for Christmas this year. He was so happy to get it that he rode it all day Christmas day. He especially enjoyed the classic bell ringer. I received an email from his foster parents thanking me for making their son's wish come true. I shopped around until I found the best deal and I'm very satisfied with how quickly the item shipped.

Customer Review: Classic Design with "Sweat Shop" manufacturing

Let me start out by saying the bike has some timeless design: Wide seat, chrome fenders, "Albatross" bar, and a 'ring-ring' bell. If you subscribe to Rivendell, this is a dream bike. The red color is so stunning that you might want to admire it for a while.... except that you won't be able to breathe near by this bike for at least two weeks.

When the bike has arrived at my front door, my plan to assemble it with my kid in the living room went out through the window, and soon I found myself in the garage with the door open, with my breathing apparatus I use for priming, ...and all by myself (because the first reaction from my three year old boy was "what's that smell, Daddy?"). It all starts and ends with the "tires."

Well, the tires are solid block of rubber, and I like this feature because 1) the weight is not an issue at this stage, 2) no need to inflate the tires, and 3) they bring down the center of gravity quite a bit. However, there were two isues with these wheels: 1) they were not true and 2) ah, THE SMELL.

First of all, I was neither planning nor delighted when I had to take out my truing stand and spoke ranch for 10" bike. And even after spending considerable time to true the wheels, the front one was still wobbly (this does slow down my boy a little, and I find that to be a good thing).

As for the second issue, as with almost everything in life, only time will heal. The stench will eventually go away after 2~3 weeks. Put the fully assembled bike or, better yet, the wheels only out on your back yard. Keep your kid and other pets aways for a few weeks. If you have any mole/gopher problem, place the wheels near by fresh mounds, and they will surely move away to next county.

Why did I keep the bike? Because my kid loves it. The bike is a "fixie," meaning the real wheel will stop, when your kid stop pedaling. When my boy "moved up" from his trike to this bike, he was having so much fun for the fact that it was behaving exactly like his old trike: he can go forward and back. This comes with a price: no brake. But this bike is so heavy (and wheels so out of alignment), your kid won't be going that fast anyway. As for stability, the bike will tip over occasionally just like any other 12" bikes; however, the bike's small size does minimize the fall.

One more tip: Do spray chain lube or WD40 on the chain system. Your kid will thank you (maybe not, but it will avoid making your kid crank like a bike messenger, butt off the saddle).

Timeless & winning design.... however, can't imagine what the factory would smell like making these bikes. Oh, btw, the stunning red color I have mentioned before? I have not lead-tested it yet... :)
